A Game About Digging A Hole is the aptly named new game from indie developer Cyberwave, and it is, you guessed it, about digging a hole.

For what Cyberwave describes “costs as much of a coffee, but is fun for longer,” A Game About Digging A Hole sees players buy a mysterious house for an “unbeatable price.” That house just so happens to have buried treasure in the backyard, leading players to start digging to discover the riches underneath.

It’s a simple premise with an even simpler gameplay loop. Players will dig, find treasure, sell those treasures, use the money to upgrade their digging tools, and keep digging deeper. The game’s announcement trailer teases there may be something more sinister lurking in the deep, dark depths, but that will be for players to discover, as Cyberwave teases a “big secret” hidden beneath the dirt.

An eye-catching and hilariously straightforward name definitely seems to be part of the game’s marketing strategy. In a blog post on Steam, Cyberwave asks players to help make the “quirky” project “go viral” so that it’s “the game everyone’s talking about.”

Halo 3’s latest new map, called Edge, has now been added to the Master Chief Collection, although it’s currently only available to participants in the game’s testing program. Edge follows the addition of Waterfall last month, which was the first new map for Halo 3 in almost 12 years. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Developer 343 Industries posted on Twitter that if you’re a member of the Halo Insider Program, the Season 7 test flight is now live and enables you to try out Edge. It’ll be playable in Social Matchmaking in the Master Chief Collection. In addition, this test flight also includes a handful of visual improvements for Halo: Combat Evolved.

Waterfall and Edge technically aren’t brand new–they’re actually remakes of maps that originally appeared in Halo: Online, the short-lived title that was only available in Russia. The story behind Halo: Online is somewhat strange; it was created by Saber Interactive, which led development on the Halo: Combat Evolved remake (and which was recently acquired by the Embracer Group). It only lasted about a year before being canceled, but a thriving fan c…

While we love the idea of extra Community Days–and we love Bulbasaur–this new initiative does raise some questions. We sat down with the live game director Michael Steranka, who shed some light on the strategy behind the extra event and whether or not we’ll see more of them in the future. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Bulbasaur!

The first question we had was a simple one: Why was Bulbasaur the best choice for this first-ever Community Day Classic? Besides our insisting it was because Bulbasaur is the best–something Steranka said was “up for debate”–the first Pokemon in the Pokedex was a logical choice for multiple reasons.

“Bulbasaur was one of the first ever Pokemon we featured in a Community Day,” Steranka explained, “as well as a Pokemon that is very relevant in PvP. Also, there’s a great thematic element where in the Poked…
